Below, you will see some frequently asked questions about our After-School Wraparound club.

Which school staff run the club?

Mrs McPherson has been employed to lead and manage the club and she will be assisted by Miss Dodd.

 What will the children be doing in the club?

The club will provide a range of activities – arts, crafts, games and chilled relaxing time - to keep the children busy and occupied after-school until parents are able to come and collect.

What food & drink will be provided?

Light snacks and drinks will be provided in slot 1 (up until 4:30pm) and a hot snack and drinks will be provided at 5pm in slot 2 (up until 6pm). Please see below, the hot snack menu that we will be providing each day during this term:

• Monday Hot dogs
• Tuesday Pizza
• Wednesday Ham & Cheese toasties
• Thursday Beans or spaghetti on toast
• Friday Tomato pasta

How do you make a booking?

To make a booking, simply email asc@stjohnssandbach.co.uk or call the school on 01270 762859. We will confirm with you that your child(ren) are booked into the club.

How do you make payment?

Parents will receive an invoice at the end of the month, for the days and times and your child(ren) has attended the club. There will be a 10% discount applied to the total cost for any family with more than one child attending the club. Invoices must be paid within 5 working days and can be paid in cash or using the parent portal.

Are parents tied into a contract?

No. We don’t believe in parents being tied into a contract and having to pay for a service that they may not need all of the time. You will simply pay for what you use.

Can we use childcare tax credits or childcare vouchers to make payment?

Yes. When paying online, parents will be able to pay using childcare tax credits or approved childcare vouchers (please make sure that you contact your childcare voucher provider and inform them of our details). Parents can also pay in cash direct to the school office.

What are the prices for the After-School Wraparound club?

Slot 1 - £7per child      3:20pm until 4:30pm and includes a light snack and drinks.

Slot 2 - £14per child    3:30pm until 6pm and includes a light snack, drinks and a hot snack at 5pm.

Breakfast Club

We also run our own Breakfast club for those parents who need an earlier drop-off due to work or travel commitments. Again, parents are not tied into contracts and you only pay for what you use. 

If you need to make use of this service, you do not need to book ahead. Simply, bring your child to the main school entrance from 8am and we will sign them in and they can go into the Breakfast club where they can have toast, juice, watch CBBC on the big screen or play games and activities until their classroom opens at 8:30am.

The cost is £2 per child, per day and this can be paid in cash each day or via BACS each week.
