At St. John's, we take great pride in our fundraising efforts, not only for the benefit of the pupils who attend our school, but for local, national and global charities as well as our sister school in Uganda - The Bridge of Hope.

We have a very active and supportive PFA who help us to organise many events throughout the school year. These have included:

  • Christmas Fayres;

  • Summer Garden Party;

  • Bunny Bingo;

  • School Disco's;

  • Quiz Nights;

  • Family Camp weekends;

  • Cake Sales;

  • Non-Uniform days;

Money that we raise at these events, helps to support the school in providing those enrichement activities and opportunities for our children that may not be achievable without financial support. In the past, money raised has been spent on;

  • Keeping the costs of school trips and visits down;

  • Purchasing a suite of new school laptops and IT equipment;

  • Helping to enhance and develop the school environment and building;

  • Installing a new music and stage lighting system in the school hall;

  • intstalling a new set of trim trail play equipment;

  • and this year, helping with the cost of the new friendship shelter, new homework books and hoodies for the Year 6 leavers.
